Sharing and green wellness are finally possible thanks to the development of Alveari, a fantastic outdoor project that aims to redevelop the condominium terraces of cities of the future. Alveari envisions a green future for our cities, where sharing and the well-being of citizens are among the first objectives. The project aims at the redevelopment of completely abandoned and disused outdoor spaces, such as condominium terraces, through the creation of modular hexagons that could become planters, seats, garden beds, container benches, and so on. The hexagons on the ground in three different colors mark the external space and its functions: children’s access to the surrounding gray areas must be mostly restricted, the blue areas require supervision, while the yellow areas are for children to run and splash without fear (envisioning, for example, a beautiful outdoor playground that includes rest areas for parents). Finally, a beautiful pergola overlooking the city contains a fantastic dining area surrounded by greenery. Some other functions of Alveari are: a beautiful outdoor kitchen to enjoy some cooking time with friends, a living area with an outdoor sitting area, a sundeck to relax just a step away from home, a fantastic vegetable garden to grow farm-to-table fruit and vegetables, and gorgeous flowerbeds of perennial and Mediterranean ornamental plants.
